Filip Langhoff story

Filip started his professional career at the age of 16, when he studied at a restaurant school. After graduating in 1999. After graduating in 1999, he moved abroad. Filip gained experience in several renowned restaurants all over Europe. These include Edsbacka krog (2 Michelin stars) in Sweden and Comerc24 (1 Michelin star) and El Bulli (3 Michelin stars) in Spain. The most important job for Filip while he was abroad was his 5 years as head chef at Spisestedet Feinschmecker (1 michelin star) in Oslo.

Filip Langhoff was born in 1980. in Finland. Even as a small child, Filip’s favourite activities included picking herbs and berries from his grandmother’s garden or walking in the forest. Over the years he has travelled the world, always with a special focus on food. 2007. In 2007 he married Linda Stenman-Langhoff, a wine specialist. In this power couple, the man prepares the food and the woman does everything else.

When he got the offer to become the head chef at Chez Dominique (2 Michelin stars) – Filip decided to move back to Finland with his family.

In 2008 and 2009, Filip represented Finland in the prestigious Bocuse d´Or. competition. He managed to lead Finland through the European competition in 5th place. In 2009. In Lyon in 2009, he finished 11th in the final. In Lyon, he finished in 11th place.

Since 2011. Since 2011, Filip and Linda have been co-managing the catering and consultancy company Cibus by Langhoff. Through this company, they organise events and functions all over the world, advise restaurants and provide interior design.

2012. aastal avasid nad restorani Ask. Ask oli väike ja intiimne 22-kohaline restoran Kruununhaka kenas piirkonnas. Ask pakkus 17 portsjonist koosnevat degustatsioonimenüüd koos hoolikalt valitud joogimenüüga. Tooteid hangiti väikestest kohalikest, mahepõllumajanduslikest ja biodünaamilistest taludest. 2019. aasta augustis otsustasid Filip ja Linda Ask´i sulgeda.

2015. aastal produtseerisid Filip ja Linda 13-osalise kokandussaate nimega Från Jord till Bord (Maast lauale). See on telesaade, mida on näidatud 2016-2024 aastatel Soomes, Norras, Rootsis ja Taanis. Saade räägib fantastilistest kohalikest mahetoodetest ja põllumeestest, kes on nende suurepäraste toodete taga.

Ask’s carefree little sister, opened in the Kampi shopping centre. Jordi’s focus was on organic food and drinks for all. 2019. In 2019, Jord relocated to Krununhaka and the old Ask restaurant location. But unfortunately it was closed in 2021. during the pandemic. After a short break, Filip and Linda opened a third restaurant. Sekel bar & Restaurant, with its focus on food and Finnish gastronomic history, especially from the 1920s and 1930s, carries a strong sustainability ethos. The menus and wines are inspired by what was served on tables a century ago.

Today, you’ll find them at Restaurant Segel in Hanko, Finland’s summer capital. Segel is a simple summer restaurant with quality food, where you can enjoy everything from fish and chips to a chef’s menu with local produce. Segel also has a special wine list where you can find wines from the old and extensive wine cellar of the Aski restaurant.

Maryna Bobrova

At dinners, Maryna Bobrova warms the senses with delicious food.

Maryna is one of Ukraine’s most outstanding violinists. He is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine and has won numerous Ukrainian competitions. In collaboration with Vanessa Mae’s manager Mel Bush, she has performed in England, Korea, China, France, Maldives, Morocco, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and other countries.

Maryna specialises in interactive performances incorporating a variety of genres such as classical music, classical crossover, pop, lounge, electronic music and rock.

  • Event will take place and food will be served even in rainy weather conditions.

  • Liftings are delayed or cancelled if wind speed exceeds 13 m/s and/or in the event of a thunderstorm.

  • Event may be cancelled or put on hold due to weather conditions, even just before your scheduled time.

  • If the lift is partially or fully cancelled, food and drinks will be served on the ground and a gift voucher, for the full value of the reservation, will be given to guests – in order to enjoy the experience at the next available time.
