Filip started his professional career at the age of 16, when he studied at a restaurant school. After completion of 1999. In 2007, he moved abroad. Filip gained experience in a number of renowned restaurants across Europe. These include Edsbacka krog (2 Michelin stars) in Sweden and Comerc24 (1 Michelin star) and El Bulli (3 Michelin stars) in Spain. The most important job for Filip while he was abroad was 5 years as a chef at Spisestedet Feinschmecker (1 michelin star) in Oslo.
Filip Langhoff was born in 1980. in Finland. Even as a small child, some of Filip’s favourite activities were picking herbs and berries from his grandmother’s garden or walking in the forest. Over the years, he has travelled the world, always paying special attention to food. In 2007, he married Linda Stenman-Langhoff, who is a wine specialist. In this power couple, the man prepares the food and the woman does everything else.
When he got the offer to become the head chef at Chez Dominique (2 Michelin stars) – Filip decided to move back to Finland with his family.
In 2008 and 2009, Filip represented Finland in the prestigious Bocuse d´Or. competition. He managed to lead Finland through the European competition in 5th place. place in the final and 2009. In Lyon in 2010, he reached the final in 11th place. place.
Since 2011. Since 2006, Filip and Linda have been co-managing Cibus by Langhoff, a catering and consultancy company. Through this company, they organise events and functions all over the world, advise restaurants and provide interior design.
2012. In 2007, they opened the restaurant Ask. Ask was a small and intimate 22-seat restaurant in a nice area of Kruununhaka. Ask offered a 17-portion tasting menu with a carefully selected drinks menu. Products were sourced from small local, organic and biodynamic farms. In August 2019, Filip decided to close and Linda Ask.
In 2015, Filip and Linda produced a 13-part cooking show called Från Jord till Bord (From Land to Table). It is a TV show that has been shown from 2016 to 2024 in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The show is about fantastic local organic products and the farmers behind these great products.
Ask’s carefree little sister, opened in the Kampi shopping centre. Jordi focused on organic food and drinks for all . In 2019, Jordi relocated to Krununhaka and restaurant Ask’s old location. But unfortunately it was closed in 2021. during the pandemic. After a short break, Filip and Linda opened a third restaurant. Sekel bar & Restaurant, with its focus on food and Finnish gastronomic history, especially the 1920s and 1930s, carries a strong sustainability ethos. The menus and wines are inspired by what was served on tables a century ago.
Today, you’ll find them at Restaurant Segel in Hanko, Finland’s summer capital. Segel is a simple summer restaurant with quality food, where you can enjoy everything from fish and fries to a chef’s menu with local produce. Segel also has a special wine list, where you’ll find wines from Restaurant Aski’s old and extensive wine cellar.

Maryna is one of Ukraine’s most outstanding violinists. He is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine and has won numerous Ukrainian competitions. In collaboration with Vanessa Mae’s manager Mel Bush, she has performed in England, Korea, China, France, Maldives, Morocco, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and other countries.
Maryna specialises in interactive performances incorporating a variety of genres such as classical music, classical crossover, pop, lounge, electronic music and rock.
